Content & Social Marketer — Graduate Role
About Vaella
Vaella is building the perception and decision layer for the buildings around us. Our LiDAR-based Vision Sensors give buildings the ability to see people anonymously and accurately, and our Building AI Operator turns that perception into action — controlling elevators, dispatching security, filing maintenance tickets, and drafting reports.
Three product surfaces work together: Vision Sensors (the eyes), the Digital Twin (the memory of the building), and Simulation (the foresight). Together they let operations teams run more complex buildings with the same headcount.
The Role
We are looking for a recent graduate who wants to learn how a real B2B brand gets built, from the inside, and who is ready to do the work to be good at it.
You will help us write the website, run our LinkedIn presence, produce the videos and visuals that show our product in real buildings, and put the customer-facing materials in the hands of our sales team. You will not be doing this alone — the founders are deeply involved in content, and you will work closely with them — but you will own a real surface from week one.
This is a graduate-level role with the runway to grow into a senior content function as the company grows. We are looking for someone who treats it that way.
What You Will Work On
Website content. Long-form, Medium-style articles on the product, the technology, customer stories, and the verticals we serve. We have a strong house style and a content guide — you will learn it, then start raising the bar on it.
LinkedIn. The channel where most of our buyers actually pay attention. You will help plan the cadence, draft the posts, support the founders' personal channels, and learn what works in our buyer's feed.
Video. Short product walkthroughs, customer site stories, founder explainers, conference reels. You will write scripts, capture footage, and edit short pieces — and grow into bigger productions as you go.
Sales materials. Decks, one-pagers, case studies, and the small library of assets a sales team reaches for in a typical week.
Customer stories. Joining customer calls and site visits, listening for the moments that matter, and turning them into copy and video that future buyers recognise themselves in.
Brand voice and visual consistency. We have a defined voice (simple English, warm, specific, never overhyped) and a visual system (dark aesthetic, signal green, real building footage). You will become a guardian of both.
What We're Looking For
A recent graduate or someone in the first year or two of their career, in a relevant field — communications, journalism, marketing, languages, design, media, business, or anything where you learned to write and tell stories.
A portfolio of work, in any form. University publications, a personal blog, a Substack, a podcast you ran, a TikTok account that grew, a society newsletter, a course paper you are proud of, a side project. Polished is less important than honest.
Strong English writing — clean, simple, active voice. You enjoy editing your own work and you can write for non-native English speakers without dumbing the substance down.
Genuinely curious about technology and how things work. You do not need an engineering background, but you should be the kind of person who asks "but how does it actually work?" and reads until you understand.
Self-directed and reliable. We do not have a marketing playbook — we have a small team and high standards. The role suits someone who likes ownership, takes feedback well, and ships.
Comfortable on a video call, on a customer site, and in front of a camera when needed.
