Project Coordinator — Renewable Energy (Fresher)
About the Role
SafEarth Renewables Pvt Ltd delivers Owner's Engineer, project management and EPC oversight services across utility-scale solar, wind-solar hybrid and battery energy storage projects. We work on the owner's side of the table — protecting schedule, quality and returns from land to commissioning.
This is a fresher position. Working under a Project Manager, you will run the coordination and documentation layer of live renewable projects — schedules, statutory approval files, drawing registers and reporting. The work is structured and reviewed, but it is real: the approval trackers and progress reports you maintain go to the client, the lender and government authorities. We are looking for someone who follows up without being reminded and writes clearly.
Location: Bengaluru (periodic travel to sites) · Department: Project Management · Reports to: Project Manager · Experience: Fresher — 2025 or 2026 graduates · Openings: 1
Responsibilities
Maintain and update project schedules in MS Project or Primavera P6; track planned versus actual progress and escalate slippage to the Project Manager with supporting data.
Maintain document control across drawing registers, technical submittals, vendor documents and approval records, under version control.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, monthly MIS and management dashboards for client and internal review.
Track purchase order status, material delivery schedules and vendor payment milestones against site requirements; flag gaps that threaten the schedule.
Attend project review meetings; issue minutes with clear owners and dates, and follow actions to closure.
Coordinate between engineering, procurement, finance and site teams to unblock dependencies before they become schedule impacts.
Compile pre-commissioning documentation, trial run records and the final handover dossier.
Support the Project Manager in verifying EPC milestone claims by assembling the underlying progress and quality evidence.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, 2025 or 2026 batch.
Fresher. Internships, project-trainee stints or academic projects in solar, wind or power systems are all relevant.
Strong written English.
The ability to chase an open item across several parties until it closes.
Comfortable working to deadlines across two or three projects at once.
Based in Bengaluru, and willing to travel periodically to project sites.
Nice to Have
Awareness of the renewable project lifecycle from design through commissioning, and of the CEIG and DISCOM approval process.
Ability to read single line diagrams, layouts and cable schedules well enough to track them through a drawing register.
Exposure to MS Project or Primavera P6, MS Excel, AutoCAD and PowerPoint — we will train you on the rest.
What We Offer
Owner-side exposure across the full project stack — structural, electrical, quality and regulatory — from your first year.
Direct involvement in utility-scale projects, from statutory approvals through commissioning.
Structured mentoring by a Project Manager, with a defined path to independent project ownership.
A results-oriented work culture.
Competitive pay.
