Lucid Integrated Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin or Work From Home if preferred. This position is available for both part-time and full-time schedules and offers an opportunity for individuals to contribute to software development, application support, system improvements, and technology-driven solutions within a professional healthcare services environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving software applications and technical solutions that support the organization's operational and business needs.

**Responsibilities**

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and internal systems.

Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and technical problems.

Participate in the development and implementation of new features and system enhancements.

Perform software testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.

Maintain and improve existing applications, databases, APIs, and software components.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to understand requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.

Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for system optimization.

Maintain technical documentation, development records, and project-related materials.

Follow established software development, security, and data protection practices.

Assist with other technical, software development, and administrative duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

Knowledge of software development principles, programming concepts, and problem-solving techniques.

Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.

Basic understanding of databases, APIs, version control, and software development methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to write organized, maintainable code.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Previous software development or internship experience is a plus but may not be required for entry-level candidates.
