We're looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who enjoys building things that work, solving meaningful technical problems, and taking ownership of their code.

You'll work across frontend and backend development, building scalable software applications, developing APIs, integrating services, and improving existing systems.

We're looking for someone with solid engineering fundamentals, hands-on production experience, and the ability to turn requirements into working software.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
Build clean, responsive, and reusable frontend components.
Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Design and optimise database schemas, queries, and application performance.
Implement authentication, authorisation, input validation, and error handling.
Debug applications, resolve technical issues, and improve code quality.
Write maintainable, well-structured, and documented code.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project leads to deliver features on time.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.
Take ownership of assigned features from development through production.

What We're Looking For

2 to 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and the MERN stack.
Solid hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture.
Experience with React Hooks, state management, and modern frontend development.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of database modelling, authentication, and common application security practices.
Experience debugging, testing, and maintaining production applications.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

TypeScript and Next.js.
PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment.
Unit and integration testing using Jest, Vitest, or similar tools.
Experience with WebSockets, GraphQL, or Redis.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
