About Curriculo Technologies

CurriculoATS is an AI-native applicant tracking system built for startups hiring between 5 and 200 people. Unlike legacy ATS platforms that bolt AI onto decades-old architecture, Curriculo was designed from day one around signal-based screening — a method that scores candidates on measurable outcomes rather than keyword frequency.

Every resume that enters Curriculo is scored from 0–100 using our Impact Scoring Engine, which evaluates quantified achievements, scope of responsibility, and career trajectory. The result: hiring managers see ranked candidates in minutes instead of spending hours skimming resumes.

About the Role

Join CurriculoATS as a Software Engineer and help shape the next generation of AI‑native applicant tracking systems. You’ll work on a fast‑growing startup, building core features that turn raw resumes into actionable, impact‑driven scores. This is a chance to make hiring faster and smarter for startups worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Impact Scoring Engine that evaluates candidate achievements and career trajectories.
  • Build and optimize backend services that ingest, process, and rank large volumes of resume data in real time.
  • Collaborate with product and data science teams to translate AI models into production‑ready code.
  • Write clean, testable code and contribute to a robust CI/CD pipeline to ensure reliable releases.
  • Monitor system performance and implement scaling solutions to support startups hiring up to 200 employees.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best engineering practices across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in SaaS or HR tech environments.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and experience building RESTful APIs.
  • Hands‑on experience with relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling for high‑throughput workloads.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests and a solid understanding of test‑driven development.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering production‑grade features on schedule.

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating machine‑learning models into production systems.
  • Knowledge of front‑end frameworks (React, Vue) to contribute to user‑facing dashboards.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, or Jenkins for automated deployments.
  • Background in building HR or recruiting platforms, understanding of resume parsing and candidate ranking.
  • Contributions to open‑source projects or a public portfolio of relevant code.
