Role Description

You’ll be the technical backbone behind the intelligence that powers our resume rewriting engine. Your work will shape the way thousands of people communicate their identity, turning complex AI systems into simple, intuitive experiences.

From building FastAPI services to deploying scalable pipelines on AWS, you’ll own the end-to-end development of our GenAI features and ensure every output feels human-first.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Backend Development

  •   Build, fine-tune, and maintain LLM-powered systems that rewrite resumes with human context.

  •   Develop and optimize backend services using Python and FastAPI.

  •   Create clean, well-documented APIs that integrate seamlessly with the product.

Infrastructure & Deployment

  •   Design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for scalable model inference.

  •   Use Docker to containerize services and manage a clean, reproducible workflow.

  •   Ensure reliability, monitoring, and performance across all GenAI systems.

Product Collaboration

  •   Work closely with the founder and product team to translate user insights into new AI capabilities.

  •   Experiment with prompts, model pipelines, and rewriting techniques that improve emotional accuracy.

  •   Bring a builder’s mindset — fast iterations, thoughtful implementations, and a bias for clarity.

Quality & Optimization

  •   Continuously refine model behavior for tone, accuracy, and consistency.

  •   Track performance metrics across model outputs, latency, and user satisfaction.

  •   Propose improvements rooted in both technical rigor and empathy for the job seeker.

Ideal Candidate

  •   3+ years of experience as a backend, ML, or GenAI engineer.

  •   Strong skills in Python, FastAPI, AWS, Docker, and modern development workflows.

  •   Experience working with LLMs, embeddings, or text-generation systems.

  •   A product mindset — you care about the why, not just the how.

  •   Writes clean code and clear documentation.

  •   Curious, self-driven, and excited about building AI that feels more human than machine.

  •   Interest in resumes, hiring, career development, or AI x empathy is a strong plus.
